How Can One Apply?

There are several ways to apply.  The preferred way is to apply online using the Common Housing Application for Massachusetts Public Housing (CHAMP). See the CHAMP button below.  This also lets you check your status online as well.


An alternate way is to download the CHAMP form HERE  or you also can call the Dighton Housing Authority, 508-823-8361, and request an application be mailed to you. When you have completely filled out the application you can return it to:

Who Gets Priority/Preference?

Our categories for Priority/Preference are Emergency Veteran Dighton Resident, Emergency Veteran Non-Resident, Emergency Dighton Resident, Emergency Non-Resident, Veteran Dighton Resident, Veteran Non-Resident, and Dighton Resident.    

How do I check Where am on the List?

Call our Office (508-823-8361) and give us your name, Applicant ID Number, and date of birth.    

How Will My Rent Be Determined?

Rent will be based on 30% of your adjusted monthly income. 

What if I have to give up my apartment?

A 30 day written notice to vacate is required. 

How do I find the Massachusetts Housing Regulations?

All you have to do is go to: www.mass.gov/hed/economic/eohed/dhcd/legal/regs/ 

Do you have Family Housing?

The Dighton Housing Authority does not offer any Family Housing.
